LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Taylor Swift emerged as the big winner at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards, snagging 10 new awards during the show aired on Fox on Thursday (December 12). Swift’s new wins solidify her position as the all-time top Billboard Music Awards winner.

Zach Bryan also had a memorable night, taking home five national awards and rock categories, highlighting his broad musical appeal. Morgan Wallen secured four awards, bringing his career total to 19, just one shy of Garth Brooks‘ record for the most wins by a country artist.

Drake, Bad Bunny, Shaboozey, and Elevation Worship each earned three awards, and Drake’s career total reached 42, second only to Swift’s. Beyoncé made history, winning her first Top Country Female Artist award, and Post Malone took home his 11th BBMA for Top Collaboration for “I Had Some Help” with Wallen.

Other notable winners include Jung Kook, who secured Top K-pop Album and Top Global K-pop Song, and Teddy Swims, whose “Lose Control” won Top Hot 100 Single, despite Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” dominating the charts for 19 weeks.

Among the night’s surprises, Luis Miguel was named Top Latin Touring Artist, beating heavyweights like Bad Bunny and Karol G. Trolls: Band Together won Top Soundtrack, besting Hazbin Hotel: Season One and Twisters. Despite being finalists in several categories, artists like Sabrina Carpenter and Billie Eilish left without any wins.
