LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — The prominent British entertainment law firm Russells announced the addition of two new partners to the company’s commercial music team.
The new partners include attorney Liv Lyons, who joined Russells from Lee & Thompson, where she was part of the firm’s in-house music team.
Before she qualified as a lawyer, Lyons worked in the music industry as both a performer and and artist manager.
Russells also announced the elevation of Mark Walker to partner. Walker began his initial training at Russells in 2015 and joined the firm’s commercial department in October 2017. Before joining Russells, Walker worked in the music industry at record labels and independent PR companies before launching and running his own label for several years.
“Liv’s hire and Mark’s promotion demonstrates Russells’ continued investment in its market-leading practice and its commitment to supporting our clients’ diverse range of needs today and in the future,” said Russells co-managing partner Jo Brittain.
