AUSTIN, TX (CelebrityAccess) — Austin City Limits Live is expanding their footprint in the market with the addition of a new performance space alongside of their current venue.
Called 3TEN ACL Live, the new 350-capacity space will located across from Austin City Hall on Block 21, the site of the W Austin Hotel and Residences. The building is owned by Austin-based developer Stratus Properties Inc., which owns ACL Live, the Austin American-Statesman reported.
“ACL Live has exceeded our expectations and our shareholders’ expectations – not just the music, but the private events, too,” Stratus Properties CEO Beau Armstrong told The American-Statesman “It’s been great for everybody. That’s why 3TEN ACL Live is so important – to serve the demand for a smaller music venue and a smaller space for events and parties.”
Armstrong said he expects 3TEN will stage about 200 concerts and events each year and will employ about 50 people. The new room is expected to debut next month. – Staff Writers
