LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Avril Lavigne is making plans to hit the road in 2008 in support of her third studio album "Best Damn Thing."
The tour will kick off in March in Victoria, B.C. and is tentatively scheduled to wind down in May in Spokane, Washington but the word on the street is that we should expect more dates to be announced before all is said and done. Tix are set to go on sale on Nov. 17th and will be available from Ticketmaster or your friends at Live Nation.
Avril's latest album hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart and is certified platinum with over 4.5 million units shifted with the ubiquitous single "Girlfriend" being the driving force behind its success.
"I can’t wait to get back out on the road!" says Lavigne, assuredly without prompting from her PR person, "I have the most fun when I am performing for the fans. I think that energy comes through in my live show."
