BOSTON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The remaining members of classic rock band Boston are planning a star-studded tribute to lead vocalist Brad Delp who committed suicide in March of 2007.
After the remaining members of Boston learned that Beatle Juice was planning to put on one last concert as a tribute to Brad, the band decided that they should do something similar. Initially planning to let several well-known singers sit in to replace Delp on vocals and to invite all former band members back together one last time.
Unfortunately, they were unable to secure a suitable venue that would be available before October, well outside of their planning range so plans for the large concert had to be scrapped. Instead, there will be a smaller, but equally heartfelt tribute on August 19th. Artists tentatively scheduled to put in an appearance include: Beatle Juice, Sammy Hagar, Extreme, Godsmack, RTZ, Cheap Trick, Ernie and the Automatics, and Charlie Farren.
