Chris Stapleton Announces Rescheduled Dates

NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — After suffering an injury that led him to postpone a series of upcoming shows, country music phenom Chris Stapleton announced dates for the rescheduled shows and provided a little more insight into the reason for the postponements.

In a notice posted to his social media last week, Stapleton announced that he was postponing three weeks of dates, but provided very little information about the reason for the hiatus beyond an injury to his hand.

In a subsequent post, he opened up to his fans about the nature of the injury, revealing that he'd suffered a broken bone and detached tendon in his right index finger.

“The doctor is hopeful that with some physical therapy I will be playing guitar again soon. Right now, I can’t possibly give you guys the show you deserve. I always want to give you my very best,” Stapleton wrote “There is little in this world that I enjoy more than getting to make music with all of you night after night. Thank you for the privilege.”

Stapleton is on the road in support of his latest studio album "From A Room: Vol. 1" which dropped last month. The album debuted at #1 on both the Billboard Country Albums and Top Album Sales charts, as well as #2 on the Billboard 200.
