Clarkson Gets Starstruck Following Exit From The Firm

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Recently embattled pop star Kelly Clarkson has replaced her recently ended management relationship with The Firm’s Jeff Kwatinetz, signing with Nashville-based Starstruck Entertainment.

Starstruck is currently home to country artists Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton. Narvel Blackstock, CEO of Starstruck and husband to McEntire, will serve as Clarkson’s personal manager. Trisha McClanahan, Starstruck VP of marketing, will assist with day-to-day operations, according to Billboard.biz.

Starstruck Entertainment was founded by Blackstock in 1988 as a full service entertainment conglomerate. McClanahan joined the company in 1990.

“Kelly is an incredible talent with an unlimited future,” Blackstock said in a statement. “We are thrilled to be working with her.”

Clarkson has made headlines recently after canceling a full summer tour and releasing her album “My December” to lackluster reviews on June 26. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
