TURLOCK, CA (CelebrityAccess) — Despite the recent controversy surrounding Bill Cosby, the comedian was warmly cheered by fans during his first performance in California following the recent wave of sexual assault allegations.
According to the Modesto Bee, Cosby received a standing ovation following his show at the Turlock Community Theatre, with only one protester on hand to object to the performance.
Previously, this past weekend Cosby faced vocal protests at a show in Denver, after more about 100 protest assembled outside of the venue.
In a statement released by Cosby before his Colorado show, Cosby thanked his fans.
"I have thousands of loyal, patient and courageous fans that are going to leave their homes to enjoy an evening of laughter and return home feeling wonderful," he said. – Staff Writers
