LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — British singer Ed Sheeran has struck a deal with Warner Records to launch his own imprint focused on developing artists.
"The door has now been opened, I've set up the label and I'm going to start signing people," Sheeran told UK newspaper The Sun. "It'll be an imprint that goes through Warner. But I'll get the rights back in about ten years."
"I'm in a really fortunate position to be able to break acts," he added.
Sheeran, who came to widespread attention when he opened for Taylor Swift on her "Red" tour, released his successful second studio album "X" this year. – Staff Writers
