LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) — Piano legend Elton John has announced the final dates ahead of the end of "The Million Dollar Piano," his second Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
The final 14 shows will occur in the Spring of 2018 with dates scheduled April 28 – May 19, 2018.
Since February 2004, Elton will have performed 450 shows at The Colosseum to over 1.8 million fans from across the world. His first five-year Caesars Palace run "The Red Piano" featured 243 shows with approximately one million punters through April 2009.
Elton's "Million Dollar Piano" started in September 2011, which to date, has seen him perform 193 shows to date.
"For over a decade, Elton John and his band have graced the stage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, performing all the hits that have defined a generation. Elton John's residency at The Colosseum has set the standard for those all that have followed," said Gary Selesner, President of Caesars Palace. "We are incredibly grateful to Elton for allowing Caesars Palace to be the home for his 450 memorable performances."
Elton John's current band features Nigel Olsson (part of Elton's original three-piece band) on drums, Davey Johnstone (who first recorded with Elton in 1971 and joined the band a year later) on guitar, John Mahon on percussion, Kim Bullard on keyboards, Matt Bissonette on bass, with a special appearance by percussionist Ray Cooper.
