Fleetwood Owen Sets "Rock Legends" Auction

Fleetwood Owen, the entertainment auction house founded by Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac and auction pioneer Ted Owen, will hold a "Rock Legends" sale on November 20 that will auction off more than 100 instruments, artifacts and memorabilia previously owned by such artists as Madonna, Richie Sambora, and Tom Jones.

A preview party to show off some of the items will be held Nov. 14 at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, featuring a concert performance by Fleetwood and his All Star Blues Band. Tickets are $35. All proceeds from the party will be donated to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

"We are particularly excited about this auction as it features many items that are very unusual and also quite timely,'' said Fleetwood. "Madonna's spectacular tour has just left the U.S., and we have already acquired the prominently featured cowboy hat she used. We just marked 31 years since Jimi Hendrix's death, and we have some wonderful photographs taken at his 1967 concert in Germany. We are also proud to be offering some important guitars from Richie Sambora, who personally used these instruments on stage and for his many top-selling albums.''
