LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — George Michael is planning a free concert, the catch is that it is only for NHS-registered nurses.
According to the BBC, the event is planned for December 20 at the Roundhouse in London.
"The nurses that helped my family at that time were incredible people, and I realized just how undervalued these amazing people are." Michael said in a statement posted on his website.
The former WHAM! singer has been on the road with his Twentyfive tour and will start the UK leg at Manchester's MEN Arena.
"Almost 10 years ago, during the last week of my mother's life, I told my friends and family that if I ever played my own concerts again, I would make sure to do a free one for NHS nurses," he wrote "I can't wait. Neither can the tour crew, for entirely different reasons." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
