Mountain Winery Troubles Bump Shows

SARATOGA, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation was forced to move several dates scheduled for the newly-renovated Mountain Winery after construction on the concert venue was not on track to be completed on schedule.

The affected shows, Styx on July 2 and Wynton Marsalis on July 6 were both moved off site and a performance by Boston was moved to the Flint Center after the band's technical crew voiced concerns about the stability of new trusses over the stage, the Mercury News reported.

Lee Smith, Chairman of Live Nation SF told the Mercury News that the firm who had installed the truss was being flown in to re-inspect it.

Future shows by Bob Weir & Rat Dog and Gov't Mule on July 9 & 10 will be moved to the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts and a performance by comedian Kathy Griffin has been rescheduled for August 25th. Additional shows may be affected and will be announced as events unfold.

Tickets for affected events will be honored at the new venues or refunds are available at the point of purchase. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
