MANNHEIM, Germany (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Former Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne canceled a planned gig in Germany at the last minute, citing concerns about his voice.
Ozzy Osbourne & Friends were to appear at the SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany on Wednesday but according to online reports, fans were sent home after a venue staffer took to the stage to announce that the show had been canceled due to a medical condition.
Subsequently, a spokesman for Ozzy told TMZ.com that Ozzy was just concerned about his voice.
Osbourne has been plagued by medical drama in recent months. The band was forced to cancel a planned tour of Black Sabbath after band-mate Tony Iommi revealed he was battling cancer and Ozzy's son Jack announced on Sunday that he's been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
As of press time, Ozzy's June 22nd date in Belgium and his June 24th show in Milan are still on the books. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
