Rock N' Rev Fest Files For Change Of Venue And Adds Gn'R & Daughtry To Lineup

STURGIS, S.D. (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Guns N' Roses will perform together for the first time in more than four years when they take the stage on August 13th at the Rock N' Rev Festival, which is set to debut from August 13-19, during this year's Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

The festival has lined up a list of headliners which include the aforementioned Gn'R and Daughtry as well as Godsmack, Creed, Stone Temple Pilots and Alice In Chains, Hellyeah, 3 Doors Down, Wolfmother and other bands, who will perform in evening shows during the rally.

Originally planned to take place at the Glencoe Campground, the festival has been moved to new digs at the nearby Monkey Rock, where festival producer DC3 Global has announced that they plan to build a new arena.

"We just couldn't iron out a few details in the contract with Glencoe and we got a great offer to move to an adjacent facility, where we could build our own amphitheatre. Monkey Rock has a great vision for what we want to do and the cross branding opportunties were perfect," Randy Alexander, spokesman for the festival told CelebrityAccess. "The parting with Glencoe was very amicable and we're working with them to offer some VIP packages for the festival to Glencoe campers," Alexander added.

"We are extremely pleased to be able to step in on short notice and reach agreement to host the concert series, after the negotiations between DC3 and the Glencoe Capt. Resort fell through," said John Dent, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Monkey Rock in a statement. "This is an ideal opportunity to increase the visibility of the Monkey Rock brand."

For those of you unfamiliar with the Motorcycle world, Monkey Rock is an entertainment company that provides food, beverage and entertainment services and adult-themed entertainment venues with a focus on motorcycle and auto events.
