Stevie Wonder, Tom Petty Lead The Lineup For New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival


NEW ORLEANS (CelebrityAccess) — Stevie Wonder, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Maroon 5, Kings of Leon, Lorde and Usher with the Roots lead the bill for 2017's year's New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival

Set to take place over two weekends, starting on April 28th, the festival will see more than 500 artists perform across ten staes. Other performers on the lineup include Wilco, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, Alabama Shakes, Snoop Dogg, Nas, Leon Bridges and Pitbull.

Not to leave the locals out in the cold, a significant portion of the festival's lineup has been dedicated to NOLA favorites like Dr. John, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, the Meters, Aaron Neville, Jon Batiste & Stay Human and Big Freedia,

The 2017 edition of Jazz Fest will also feature a special focus on the music of Cuba, and event organizers have invoted more than a dozen Cuban artists to perform at the fest. – Staff Writers
