SYDNEY, NSW (CelebrityAccess) — Australian electro-pop group The Avalanches have pulled out of their international festival dates, citing illness.
In a statement posted to the band’s Facebook page, they wrote: “Unfortunately due to a medical condition requiring treatment in Australia, Tony [DiBiasi] has been advised against international travel for the next few months, so with great disappointment we have had to postpone some forthcoming festival appearances in Europe.”
Affected dates include festival stops in Sweden, the Netherlands, and France. As well, the band pulled out of their upcoming appearance at Fuji Rocks in Japan.
However, their appearance at Splendour in the Grass is still a go, the band said. – Staff Writers
