SYDNEY, AU (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Divinyls have announced that they are reforming and planning to record a new album to be released in 2008.
Formed in 1980, the Australian band released several hit records in Australia but only scored on major charting hit in the US with their 1991 track "I touch myself."
Although never officially dissolved, the members of the band have been focused on solo projects until last year when they were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame.
The current lineup includes Chrissie Amphlett, Charlie Drayton, Charlie Owen and Pat Thrall. A few dates have already been announced for this year, including the popular Homebake festival on December 8th in Sydney.
