ATLANTA (CelebrityAccess) — A lawyer for rapper Waka Flocka Flame says the rapper has been found not guilty after he was arrested with a handgun in his carry-on bag at an Atlanta airport in 2014.
According to Billboard, an attorney for the rapper, whose whose real name is Juaquin Malphur, took less than half an hour to return a not guilty verdict after a four-day trial.
Malphur had been charged with carrying a weapon in an unauthorized location, but maintained that it was an accident after he took the wrong bag to the airport without knowing that his wife's gun was in the bag.
Malphur's defense attorney Drew Findling said he was happy with the verdict, Billboard reported. – Staff Writers
