(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Two ushers at the NEC Arena near Birmingham, England, were shot during a concert by superstar rapper Kanye West on February 28th.
Police say the shootings took place when the ushers tried to escort two patrons out of the arena, after they attempted to gain entry without tickets.
The victims are still being treated but their injuries are not thought to be life threatening. Detectives are still seeking details about the shooting.
West was performing on the last night of his five-date "Touch The Sky" tour across the UK.
A police spokesman told the BBC, “This incident involved individuals who had been ejected from the venue for attempting to gain entrance to a pop concert without tickets.”
He continued, “Firearms were discharged and two stewards were taken to [the] hospital with gunshot wounds. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.” –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
