(CelebrityAccess) – Eventbrite has hired tech industry veteran Josh McNicol as its new general manager for the Asia-Pacific region.
McNicol, who joins Eventbrite from mobile payments company Square, will be tasked with overseeing a team of 40 plus individuals across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.

We’re doing this by connecting an underserved market with world-class technology that helps event creators run and grow their events and their businesses. Events and live experiences offer people the unique opportunity to create memories, build community and connect with the world around them. According to Eventbrite, its Asia-Pacific team has processed more than 17 million tickets to over 330,000 events in the region this year alone.
