KANSAS CITY (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Sprint Center and the The Midland by AMC theatre in Kansas City will be the first AEG-operated venues to cast aside Live Nation's Ticketmaster in favor of AEG's new in-house ticketing venture, axs Ticketing.
According to the Kansas City Business Journal axs will formally debut at the Sprint Center when tickets for Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker April 6th show go onsale on Jan 13 as well as for Drake's March 1st show.
"The next 12 months will see many new innovations and additions to the service," Todd Sims said in a press release. "Starting in Kansas City with four blockbuster acts, and with our first arena to switch to axs Ticketing, is a great way to usher in the new year."
Other non-AEG venues have signed on with axs in markets includeing Dallas, Denver, San Fran and Seattle. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
