(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Three weeks after organizers said that the entire season would be cancelled at the Freedom Hill Amphitheater in Sterling Heights, Michigan, due to a collapsed deal with Palace Sports & Entertainment, they have now announced that some of the concerts will go on as planned.
Joe Vicari, co-owner of Hillside Productions, said Sunday that organizers decided last week to begin the concert season in late June – about a month later than usual – even though the ownership deal has yet to be settled.
“We’re going to try to make it as full of a concert season as we can,” Vicari told the Detroit Free Press.
A full list of performances will be announced in the coming weeks. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
