LONDON (VIP-NEWS) According to Billboard Peter Tudor, GM of Live Nation-owned Wembley Arena, is joining Ticketmaster U.K.
Tudor is expected to join the ticketing giant's London team this June, reporting to Chris Edmonds, managing director of Ticketmaster U.K.
Tudor was at the helm when Wembley Arena, one of London's biggest indoor music venues, appointed Ticketmaster as its "preferred ticketing provider" in 2004. He previously served as director of sales and marketing for Wembley Arena.
The 12,500 capacity site reopened in 2006 after undergoing a reported £35 million ($69 million) refurbishment and modernization program to provide the aging venue with a much-needed face-lift.
Tudor has also served the maximum three-year term as chairman of the U.K.'s National Arenas Association, which represents 17 venues each with a capacity of at least 5,000. He is still listed on the steering group for the NAA, according to Billboard
