BOSTON, MA (CelebrityAccess) — An NBA/Hip Hop meet and greet in Boston went awry on Monday after a large crowd that had gathered for the event became unruly.
According to the Associated Press, Cambridge police dispersed the crowd and arrested six juveniles after more than 1,000 people descended on a Champs Sports Store at the CambridgeSide Galleria mall for a fan meeting with apper Desiigner and Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown.
Cambridge police told the Associated Press that when police officers and the fire department were called to the scene to help clear the crowd, officers were targeted with glass, rocks and other debris allegedly hurled by the crowd.
Police used pepper spray to help disperse the throng.
Four boys and two girls were charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace, the AP reported. – Staff Writers
