LOS ANGELES, (CelebrityAccess) — Fans of retro pop sounds are in for a treat this summer a capella group Straight No Chaser and Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox hit the road for a double bill.
The Live Nation-produced tour kicks off in Chicago on July 13 and will include stops in Cleveland, Boston, Nashville and Los Angeles before wrapping up at Red Rocks in Colorado on Oct. 4th.
If you're unfamiliar with either group, they are worth checking out. Straight No Chaser re-imagines the a cappella group of yesteryear, while Post Modern Jukebox revists modern classics, from contemporary pop, rock and R&B to do-wop and swing, with a retro presentation.
Since Bradlee created PMJ in 2009, the project has amassed more than 650 million YouTube views and 2.5 million subscribers, chalked up more than 1 million likes on Facebook, while SNC have generated more than 80 million views on YouTube, made numerous national TV appearances including NBC's "Today," ABC's "World News," "Watch What Happens Live," CNN, "Fox & Friends," "20/20" and the like. – Staff Writers
