Warner Music Expands Board With The Addition Of Former Maker Studios CEO Ynon Kreiz

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Warner Music has expanded their Board of Directors from 11 to 12 members with the addition of Ynon Kreiz.

Until last December, Kreiz served as the CEO of Maker Studios, which produces content for YouTube and other digital distribution platforms. The company represents more than 55,000 independent artists including YouTube personality Felix Kjellberg (PewDiePie) and others.

The company was acquired by Disney in December, 2015 for a cool $500 million.

A native of Israel, Kreiz earned a BA in Economics and Management from Tel Aviv University and an M.B.A. from UCLA's Anderson School of Management.

“I am very pleased to welcome YNON to our Board. With his extensive experience in founding, running, and advising companies in a spectrum of arenas – including digital content development, video and TV production and distribution, and online and interactive programming – he will be an expert voice as we continue to find new ways to grow our business and nurture the careers of our artists and songwriters,” Warner Music CEO Steve Cooper said.
