BUENOS AIRES (CelebrityAccess) — In the wake of five apparent overdose deaths at Time Warp EDM festival in Buenos Aires earlier this month, the event’s producer, Dell Entertainment, has come under legal scrutiny.
According to Mixmag, Maximiliano Avila, Dell’s attorney and company owner Carlos Maria Garat were taken into custody earlier this week, and at least 30 other members of company's staff were cited in the allegations.
Police have alleged that the company was negligent and facilitated the purchase of illegal substances at the festival.
City officials announced earlier this week that they would institute a moratorium on permits for future EDM events in the city until new safety regulations can be implemented. – Staff Writers
