LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Public relations vet Kelly Walsh has signed on with The Mitch Schneider Organization as a National & Tour Publicist.
Walsh will be based out of MSO PR’s Los Angeles headquarters, starting on November 15th. Walsh will bring her client Tod Waters, owner of Junker Designs and founding member/vocalist of punk outfit, DieFast when she makes the transition to MSO PR.
“So excited to have Kelly Walsh on board at MSO,” says company founder Mitch Schneider. “She is bringing to our company an impressive wealth of knowledge and experience in both national and tour press as well as fresh thinking and full on-passion.”
Before she signed on with MSO PR, Walsh spent almost a decade handling in-house publicity at record labels such as Century Media Records and Prosthetic Records as well as working independently with boutique firms.
Over the course of her career, Walsh has collaborated on campaigns for a wide range of artists, including Marty Friedman, Arch Enemy, Skeletonwitch, Body Count, and Kitie. As well, she worked on campaigns for Chris Hardwick’s ID10T Music Festival and Alt 98.7’s Big Adventure Festival.
She’s also delved into the esoteric world of craft beer, and created musical tie-in campaigns for artists such as Pennywise’s “Pennwiser IPA” by Lost Coast Brewery and Prosthetic Record’s “Blood Junkie” IPA with Three Weavers Brewing Company.
