(CelebrityAccess) – Additional details about the upcoming musical inspired by Michael Jackson were announced this week.
The production, which is a collaboration between the Michael Jackson estate and Columbia Live Stage, is being titled Don’t Stop ‘Till You Get Enough, and will head first to Chicago in the fall and then to Broadway in 2020.
Two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage has been secured for the book, while direction and original choreography will be by Tony Award winner and former choreographer for the New York City Ballet, Christopher Wheeldon.
The musical will make its Chicago debut on October 29 at the James M. Nederlander Theatre and run through December 1, 2019.
