iHeartCountry Festival Lands In Austin

AUSTIN, TX (CelebrityAccess) — Tim McGraw, Florida Georgia Line, Dan + Shay, Luke Combs, Little Big Town, Old Dominion, and Chris Janson are among the headliners who performed at the 2019 iHeartCountry Festival.

Sponsored by financial services company Capital One, the festival returned for its sixth year in 2019, taking place at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas.

Luke Combs kicked off the 2019 iHeartCountry Festival with a performance that included songs from his debut album, This One’s for You. Alongside a full band, the singer/songwriter strummed away at his guitar through a 25-minute set which included “When It Rains It Pours,” “Must’ve Never Met You,” “One Number Away,” “Beautiful Crazy,” and “Hurricane.” For his closer, he selected fan favorite “She’s Got the Best of Me.”

Florida Georgia Line also performed an array of their hits, including “Colorado” and “Cruise.” The duo also played their newest single, “Y’all Boys,” as well as “Talk You Out of It,” “Simple,” as well as their collaboration with Bebe Rexha, “Meant To Be.” The pair also surprised fans when they reunited with Daytime Village performer Morgan Wallen for their closing number, “Up Down.”

The 2019 iHeartCountry Festival also showcased female country music, including when Lauren Alaina, Tenille Townes and Caylee Hammack came together for an iHeartCountry Guitar Pull. While Hammack kicked off the set with “Family Tree,” Townes opted for “Somebody’s Daughter” and Alaina went for her 2018 single, “Ladies In The ‘90s,” as well as her ultimate anthem, “Road Less Traveled.” After showing love to each of their respective songs, the trio saved the best for last when they teamed up for a duet of Shania Twain’s hit, “Man! I Feel Like A Woman.”

Tim McGraw closed the festival out with a special birthday set that included hits from his three-decade career such as “Truck Yeah” and “Southern Voice.”

iHeartMedia pledged to donate $1 from the sale of every ticket to help out the festival’s charity partner St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to help fund research and treatment.
