LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Rock legend Ozzy took to social media this week to assure his fans that he wasn’t on death’s door after announcing the cancellation of his upcoming European tour.
“I’m not dying, I am recovering, it’s just taking a little longer than everyone thought it would,” the 70-year-old rocker told his fans.
Ozzy on Wednesday announced that he had been forced to postpone his European dates which were slated to start in January 2020. The dates, which are part of Ozzy’s “No More Tours 2” tour, had previously been postponed earlier this year as Ozzy grappled with health issues.
Osbourne has been in and out of the hospital in 2019 for a number of issues, including extensive surgery to address damage to his spine and neck sustained in a fall, as well as for a bout of pneumonia and for a serious infection in his hand.
At present, Ozzy’s previously rescheduled North American tour, which is set to kick off in May 2020, is still a go.
