(CelebrityAccess) – Facebook has today (Oct. 17) announced the launch of music on Facebook and Instagram in seven new European countries – the Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Romania and Slovakia.
Starting today, users in the newly announced markets will now have the ability to include music and lyrics from a vast catalog of international and local songs to their personal photos and videos on their Stories. Additionally, users will now have access to Lip Sync Live, which allows you to sing along to music from a variety of genres, and the ability to add videos with music to a new music section on their Facebook profile. The popular Instagram Stories questions sticker also now has music capabilities.
The announcement follows last month’s news that Facebook and Instagram music products had launched in 15 additional countries across Latin America – Colombia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Venezuela, Guatemala, Uruguay, Paraguay, Honduras, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Panama and Nicaragua. In Latin America, music was already available in Argentina, Mexico and Brazil.
Music is now available on Facebook-owned products in over 30 countries across EMEA.
