MISSOULA, Montana (CelebrityAccess) — Nick Checota, owner of Montana-based concert promoter Logjam Presents, announced plans for the development of the Drift, a new $100 million entertainment complex to be built in downtown Missoula.

The Drift, which will include a 6,000 capacity indoor music venue, will be located along the Clark Fork in downtown Missoula, Montana, at the corner of Front & Orange, on the site of the old Fox Theatre.

In addition to the concert venue, the complex will also include a 200-room boutique-style hotel, about 10,000 square feet of additional event space, as well as two restaurants, a 400-spot parking structure and a riverfront promenade that is tied into Missoula’s river trail system. The project will also include 45 residential condominium units.

According to Logjam, the development team will continue to develop the design and construction plan of the venue with the intention of breaking ground on the project in the summer of 2020.

“We see the Drift as a transformational project for Missoula and its downtown riverfront. The development not only establishes an entertainment civic center on the river, but will serve as an economic engine for all of downtown,” Checota said.

Logjam Presents will exclusively manage all events at The Drift when it opens.
