TORONTO (CelebrityAccess) — Canada’s Unison Fund announced that The Tragically Hip will be the recipients of the inaugural Courage in Unison Award.
The award recognizes individuals, groups, or organizations that inspire and drive positive change within the Canadian music community and celebrates those who foster a sustainable and thriving music industry through their voluntary and benevolent efforts.
The name of the award pays homage to The Tragically Hip’s song “Courage (for Hugh MacLennan),” and will become an annual part of the Unison’s Holiday Schmoozefest, which this year will take place on Tuesday, December 10th, 2024, at Liberty Grand in Toronto.
