LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Rick Merrill, technically director of operations at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif., but who was acting basically as its GM, is no longer with the parent company MSG.
An email to Merrill had an auto-reply saying, “Thank you for your email. Rick Merrill is no longer with the company. For inquiries, please contact Michael Fallon.” CelebrityAccess had attempted to confirm Merrill’s exit some weeks ago but received no response.
Merrill is the former GM for the Wiltern in Los Angeles but is synonymous with being the longtime GM of the Universal Amphitheatre, which was razed to make way for the new Harry Potter feature at Universal Studios. He was brought on as the Forum’s director of operations last July to help fill the void left by former GM Nick Spampanato.
No further information was available at press time.
