LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Aerosmith is hitting the road for an 18 city US tour this summer. The ‘Cocked, Locked, Ready to Rock’ tour begins on July 23 in Oakland, CA and tickets go on sale June 4.
According to Live Nation, the Boston-based band’s August 14 date at Fenway Park sold out in a record-breaking 23 minutes. Aerosmith will be joined at the Fenway by The J.Geils Band.
“I thought it was time to get my MOJO back, by rockin’ South America and Europe with
a little ‘home run’ at Boston's Fenway Park thrown in and then off to the rest of America to do what we
do best!” said Steven Tyler according to Live Nation.
“This is a perfect time for us to tour North America as we are just completing a very successful tour of
South America. We are looking forward to our European tour next month and then bringing our show
back to our home soil,” commented Joe Perry according to Live Nation.
