CHICAGO (CelebrityAccess) — HBO will broadcast a new eight-part documentary featuring the Foo Fighters providing lessons in American music history.
Directed by Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl the documentary, "Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways," will feature the music history of different cities across the U.S., visited Grohl, and his band, along with producer Butch Vig. Other cities to be featured include New York, Detroit, L.A. and Washington D.C.
After the premier episode on Oct. 17th, the Foo Fighters will peform live at Chicago’s ‘The Cubby Bear’ and the concert will be streamed live on HBO's Facebook page. As well, the concert will be available on HBO's HBOGo streaming service the following day. – Staff Writers
