Gersh Promotes Greenstein And Butler To Senior Partners

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Gersh Agency has elevated Bill Butler and Rick Greenstein to the roles of senior partners, where they will be more involved in setting the course for the agency. The will work alongside current senior partners Bob and David Gersh and Leslie Siebert, according to Variety.

Butler has been a partner and head of Gersh’s New York office, while Greenstein has been a partner, senior vice president and head of the agency’s comedy division.

Rick Greenstein joined Gersh in 1995 to establish their comedy division after running his own music agency and working for APA and WMA. He now oversees a roster of more than 50 comedians including Jamie Foxx, Dave Chappelle, Chris Tucker, Drew Carey, Brian Regan and Kevin Nealon.

Bill Butler moved from WMA to Gersh in 1995, and has overseen the expansion of the New York office, including the acquisition of the Joyce Ketay Agency. Butler handles a roster of clients including Christopher Meloni, Victor Garber, Melina Kanakaredes, Jane Krakowski, Zoe Saldana, Kate Burton, Kathryn Erbe and Jake Weber.

“Bill and Rich have been great assets to the firm,” Bob Gersh told Variety. “Rick nurtured the comedy and personal appearance division into a powerhouse sector of our company's business model, and Bill has effectively managed and operated our New York office, which is one of the leading agencies in Manhattan.” –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
