(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Officials at New Jersey’s Giants Stadium have announced plans to aggressively monitor tailgating and drinking, following a court-awarded $135 million lawsuit to a family after a drunk-driving football fan paralyzed their 7-year old child from the neck down following a game in 1999.
According to the New York Post, the stadium will be heightening their undercover monitoring of both the fans and the beer vendors. Spotters with binoculars will be scanning the stadiums during the games, and authorities will be keeping fans who are already inebriated from entering the stadium. The ruling has been handed down from the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority, which runs the stadium. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
