In his new position, based in the company’s Los Angeles home office, Burk will be responsible for developing and overseeing marketing efforts that will ensure growth, aid in product and service development, and increase consumer awareness of the company and its products. He will also lead the marketing department’s short and long-range business objectives, while reporting directly to 5.1 Entertainment Group Chairman and CEO John Trickett.
Burk held a similar position at the BMG Strategic Marketing Group, where he was the West Coast sales director, and at EMI Music Marketing, where he served as senior director of Retail Marketing as well as various sales and marketing management positions in Los Angeles, Boston and Atlanta.
