Live Nation Plans Gospel Tour With The King's Men

LOS ANGELES, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Four of the top names in Gospel music, Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Donnie McClurkin and Israel Houghton are teaming up for a national package tour of north America this fall.

Produced by Live Nation, the King's Men concert tour will stop at 15 cities across the U.S., starting in Phoenix at the Comerica Theatre on September 16th and carrying through til October 14th when the tour stops at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

"In the Gospel world, this is like Springsteen, McCartney, Prince and Elton hitting the road together," said Kevin Morrow, Senior Vice President of Touring at Live Nation. "It’s going to be a once in a lifetime event for music fans."

Israel’s album Decade hit the shelves in March and Marvin's I Win went on sale last month. Kirk released his 12th studio album last year while Donnie's most recent record was way back in the dark days of 2004.
