LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Rick Mueller, the former president of Live Nation's California office has been promoted to the position of President of the California region.
In the newly-created position, Mueller will be responsible for overseeing the entire business unit, including venues, promotion and local sponsorship, Live Nation's John Vlautin told CelebrityAccess.
Mueller will also all oversee booking for Live Nation in California, and Matt Prieshoff, Rich Best, Jodi Goodman, Emily Simonitsch, Michael Bailey, Greg Siegel, Robin Alexander, Brad Locker and Creighton Burke will all report to him.
Prior to his promotion, Mueller had developed from Lee Smith's assistant, to the role of booker and finally President of Live Nation's San Francisco operation. Lee will continue as the chairman of Live Nation's San Francisco office.
Live Nation has also given the bump to Nick Masters who is now Live Nation's chairman of Southern California. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
