NYON, Switzerland (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The organizers of the Paléo music festival in Nyon have plenty to smile about, after 225,000 people showed up for six days of sold-out concerts.
Spectators and organizers were delighted with the performances of the big names in addition to the smaller acts, who performed over 31 shows throughout the week.
“I’ve seen most of the music festivals in the French-speaking world, and I can tell that we are the only ones to offer so much,” festival head Daniel Rosselat said. “Other show specialists who come here tell us we are a model for them.”
Paléo ensures spectator comfort by paying special attention to details such as sound quality, giant viewing screens, food and space to spread out during the concerts.
The Who, Depeche Mode and Tracy Chapman were all major draws. Chapman even made her way into the crowd, joining the street acts and was reportedly “enchanted” by the atmosphere. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
