TYLER, TX (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The historic Rosebowl Speedyway in Winona, Texas will fall victim to the bulldozer as it is recast as the Rosebowl Amphitheater.
Originally opened in 1970's, the Rosebowl Speedway was one of the oldest dirt tracks in the area, hosting races until it closed last April for remodeling.
Genco, the company behind the Rosebowl Amphitheater, expects that the new venue will be open for business by March 2012, when it will host live music, plays, fairs, and festivals, and cinema events.
Genco, who's focus is typically in real estate development, will handle promotion, marketing, and sponsorship functions for the Rosebowl, as well as providing souvenir-merchandising services, food and beverage at the shed. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
