INDIO, Calif. (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Indio police are investigating the alleged sexual assault of a young woman at the Stagecoach festival on Friday.
According to the Press-Enterprise, the 17-year-old female was allegedly attacked in a portable restroom near the festival entrance. Police note that they have little in the way of description for their suspect but said that the individual was accompanied by two other men.
"The assault was near the entrance, and we're hoping somebody heard or saw something and will let us know," Indio police spokesman Ben Guitron said. "The only suspect description we have is that one of the men was blonde, and that there were two other men."
As of yet, police have made no arrests in the assault, however, numerous other arrests were made over the course of the weekend with more than 128 people arrested. The majority of arrests were alcohol-related. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
