(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — SMG has named Chris Wright Executive Director of National Booking. Wright has been with SMG for 11 years and currently serves as general manager of Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y.
Wright, a Philadelphia native, will remain as general manager of Nassau Coliseum but his new responsibilities will include interfacing with national talent promoters and booking agencies and overseeing www.smgbooking.com. He will also coordinate SMG regional booking managers Jerry Goldman, Dan Spellens and Bob Papke.
“Chris has proven his booking skills at the Nassau Coliseum and we expect him to expand those efforts on behalf of our other managed facilities,” said Mike Evans, Senior Vice President of Sports and Entertainment for SMG.
