SAN DIEGO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A plan to develop the Viejas Casino in Alpine into a major resort and concert venue continues apace.
Planned to accommodate between 8,000-12,000 seated patrons, the new venue would be in addition to the $800 million in other expansions planned for the casino.
"As we move forward with our resort plans, we will work with industry partners such as Nederlander to create a showcase entertainment destination that will include the very best in gaming, recreation and leisure" Viejas Chairman Bobby Barrett told the Union-Tribune.
The final details of the new venue, and its open date have yet to be determined and final approval from the Viejas general membership has yet to be received. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
