LOS ANGELES, CA, (CelebrityAccess – Ticketmaster on Thursday announced the extension of its partnership with the NFL football team the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium.
The extended deal will see Ticketmaster continue to serve as the official ticketing partner for the 49ers, including primary tickets, as well as providing a secondary marketplace for the resale and exchange of tickets.
In 2018, the 49ers and Ticketmaster will roll out a new Member Credential for 49ers season ticket holders, using a single scannable barcode to make stadium entry easier for all home games.
Ticketmaster first came aboard as the ticketing service for the 49ers in 1999, and since 2014, when Levi’s Stadium opened then more than 2.5 million fans have entered the stadium with a ticket purchased through the service.
As well, the 49ers were an early adopter of Ticketmaster’s platform VenueNext, integrated directly with Ticketmaster, to provide real-time analytics to the 49ers and Levi’s Stadium.
