NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Country Music icons Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood have been named as the hosts for the 52nd Annual CMA Awards.
This year will mark the 11th time that the duo has hosted the awards show. The awards are scheduled to take place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Nov. 14th, and will be broadcast live via ABC.
While none of the nominees for 2018 have been announced yet, Luke Bryan, Dan + Shay and Sugarland have signed on to reveal a slate of nominees later this month during an appearance on Good Morning America.
Immediately following the show, the remaining categories, as well as the CMA Broadcast Awards nominees, will be revealed live on GoodMorningAmerica.com as well as “Good Morning America’s” Facebook page through Facebook Live and simulcast on “Good Morning America’s” YouTube channel.
Nominees and award winners for the CMA Awards are determined by more than 7,400 professional members of CMA, which is the first trade organization formed to promote an individual genre of music in 1958 and celebrates its 60th anniversary in September.
The CMA Awards are, unsurprisingly, a production of the Country Music Association, and Robert Deaton will serve as the executive director for the show this year.
